SERVICES AVAILABLE Wheatfield Family Dentistry provides dental services for the entire family. Children should make their first visit to the dentist at about one year of age. This visit would be to check for eruption and development of the child's teeth and to inform the parents how to teach proper dental hygiene. We provide cleanings, periodontal treatment (gum disease), extractions, crowns, bridges, partial dentures, full dentures (plates), root canals, implant services, veneers, cosmetic dentistry, bleaching, children's dentistry, fluoride treatments, mouth guards (for sports), hygiene instructions, etc. We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) for children and adult patients who are apprehensive in regard to dentistry. All of our chair side xrays are digital, which have 90% less radiation than normal xrays.
Remember, we are here to make your dental health a pleasant experience. Our well trained staff is always happy to answer questions about your family's dental health. You can receive a brochure explaining treatment for most of the services mentioned. If you require extensive explanations, please schedule a consultation appointment with our staff so we may plan enough time for you to understand our procedures. All patients are given complete treatment plans. The decision to go ahead is yours. For your health and safety, sterilization and infection control are maintained at the highest standards presently available. We adhere to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendation of universal precautions throughout the office for your protection and ours. Biologic monitoring indicators are regularly sent to testing centers to verify the effectiveness of our sterilization equipment.
