Continuing Education
Dr. Casacci has been taking a lot of continuing education lately and apologizes for any inconveniences that have occurred due to rescheduling. Continuing education is required by New York State Health Department for all licensed professionals. The dental board requires 45 hours every three years. This is considered the absolute minimum. CE

WHAT’S THAT? Courses
taken by Dr. Casacci are referred to as CE. Recent Continuing Education topics
include implants and aesthetics, occlusion and TMJ, perio and ortho and CPR.
Planned courses include basic and advanced training in CEREC Cad-Cam porcelain
technology and holistic dentistry. Dr. Casacci passed her fellowship exam in
July of 2000 and has become a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. There is only one other dentist in WNY to achieve this level of
recognition by the Academy. Dr. Casacci promises to continue on and receive her
Mastership in the next few years.
Dr. Casacci completed over 950 hours of CE to date. A majority of these courses were advanced levels in both Endodontics (root canals) and Esthetics. She has completed 10 of the required 12, part II Aesthetic courses at SUNY Buffalo needed for certification. This training course has taken approximately 2 years to complete. This is the first course work certification program of its kind in the world. Dr. Casacci will be one of the first to achieve certification in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry.
