SCHEDULING OFFICE HOURS

    Many of our patients appreciate the variety of hours we offer, which include evenings and Saturdays, to better accommodate their busy schedules. The office hours may change throughout the year so please ask the receptionist at the front desk if you have any questions. Dental appointments, which require an hour or more, need to be scheduled before 4:00 p.m.

CONTACT POLICIES

    We make every effort to contact our patients the day prior to their appointments as a reminder. If the patient is not available, we will leave a message with a family member or your answering machine, if one is available.

APPOINTMENT POLICIES

    If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, at least 24 hours notice is required. This will allow us the opportunity to call and schedule a patient who is awaiting treatment. Emergencies arise and people get ill, we recognize this. However, we still ask that you notify the office. If appointments are not kept without adequate notice on multiple occasions, a $25.00 broken appointment fee will be added to your account. As only one patient is scheduled per time slot, anyone in need of treatment may not be able to be seen when patients do not give us the courtesy of proper cancellation notice.

    If you need to reschedule a prime time appointment (evening, Saturday or multiple family member appointments on the same day) a minimal 48 hours notice is required. A broken appointment fee of $25.00 per half hour time slot will be applied to your account if adequate notice is not received.

RECALLS (CHECK UPS)

     A recall appointment consists of a cleaning and periodic exam and will   be scheduled upon completion of your initial visit. Making your follow-up appointment at this time will enable you to keep your maintenance on schedule. Recalls may be at 3, 4 or 6 month intervals depending on your needs.

EMERGENCIES

Occasionally emergencies do arise and we will address them promptly. If you have a dental emergency after hours, the doctor may be reached by calling the office. An alternate number is on the answering machine. A separate fee for after hour visits will be assessed.

When an emergency situation does occur which causes our schedule to fall behind, we will make every effort to notify scheduled patients by telephone.
